A record display shelf is a narrow wall ledge with a lip that holds album jackets upright and face-out — a “now playing” wall, a rotating gallery or a new-arrivals rack in a shop. Display shelf design
The essentials are a shelf depth just deep enough for a jacket (or a few jackets) to rest, a front lip or groove that stops covers from sliding, and a back or wall contact that keeps them at a slight angle. Lengths are typically set in multiples of one LP width — about 12.4 in (314 mm) per cover plus spacing. Shelves can hold a single album, a row of three or four, or several stacked jackets for a rotating display.

- Single ledges — one-LP “now playing” ledges, often sold in 2- or 3-packs.
- Long ledges — 3–4+ LP rows for a gallery wall.
- Multi-tier wall displays — stacked ledges on a shared back for shops and listening rooms.

Mounting and materials
Ledges ship with fixings and instructions; the fixing method must suit the wall type where they are installed, and instructions say so. Materials include solid wood, plywood, MDF with veneer or paint, clear or colored acrylic, and powder-coated steel. We do not publish generic load figures — capacity is confirmed per SKU.

MOQ depends mainly on material, finish, branding and packaging (stock designs in neutral packaging start lower than custom sizes, custom finishes or printed retail boxes); lead time depends on materials, finishing and season.
